About Us

In 1975, Tim and Cyndy Jones moved to the Central Coast from Newport Beach. Cyndy worked for the original Quarterdeck for several years. When the Quarterdeck closed, Cyndy became general manager of International House of Pancakes in Arroyo Grande where she learned the ins and outs of restaurant business. In June of 1995, Cyndy Jones reopened The Quarterdeck and she and her husband Tim are now the sole owners. Tim retired from Cal Poly University in 2007 and now helps with the restaurant by keeping up all maintenance and of course testing all beers on tap before the are released. Cyndy and Tim take pride in seeing that your food and service are always the best.

On behalf of our entire staff and Jones family, we thank you for joining our family at The Quarterdeck and hope you have a pleasurable dining experience with us.
